Name Basis: The Big O.
During his first trip though Johto, Dune had taken a courier job delivering eggs to their owners in Kanto. As a reward, the caretakers offered him an egg of unknown origins. That egg was Big Dom, who would become Dune's main provider of personal defense and flight. Dom takes his duties as sentry and lookout quite seriously, and will often try and discourage Dune from some of his more outlandish ideas (with varied success).
