- Ren enters the Velvet Room by himself, before sending a message for the rest of the Contractors to meet with him there and enter the CU.
- [TS] Due to Quirinus deciding to go on a killing spree, Wilhelm decides to forcibly extract Lane's knowledge of the J-Team from his mind, succeeding despite Maria and Samantha's best efforts.

- The Contractors confront the owner of an eerie voice, who then summons an army of shadows.

- The Eerie Voice attempts to erode the Contractor's will by showing them visions of what they truly desire.
- Ren, faced with no other option following the Eerie Voice's pacification and mind rape geas of a number of assorted Shadows and the other Contractors, does a dance number to rid them of its control.
- [TS] The Eerie Voice reveals itself as Mikuratana-no-Kami, the embodiment of the desire for easy bonds.
