Biography

A 16-year-old dark-specializing trainer from Castelia, Unova. Although he is most fond of Dark types he also likes Ghost types. His only Ghost type is his Shedinja, Husk, although it is implied that he felt obligated to 'adopt' Husk, for reasons currently unknown.

Onion's best friend from childhood was Every Memito, whom he met during a run-in with Krokorok. Many of them. After somehow managing to escape they became friends from. They continued together for several years afterward, but then separated before meeting up once again.

In childhood he was given the nickname "Onion." This wasn't based on a mannerism or aspect of his appearance, it was simply to annoy him. However, he came to like the nickname and still uses it. He also tends to insist that people use "Onion" rather than "Malgent", expressing some dislike for his given name.

Personality

Onion usually appears as being phlegmatic, although when comfortable reveals himself to be more outgoing and friendly. He sometimes acts and speaks harshly, for which he blames his Hydreigon, Xakk.

Relationships

Onion has been friends with Every since childhood. They had not met for several years before reuniting relatively recently.

Onion has a sister named Benedicta, whom Onion insists on calling 'Shallot'.

Onion has a faint familiarization with several members of the main group, as well as a bizarre friendship with Amanita.
