Personality
Romea is the exact opposite of Jules in terms of personality in pretty much every way possible. While Jules is optimistic, a bit goofy, and friendly towards all Zangoose, Romea is cynical, sardonic, and violent. When Braker first met her, she adamantly denied her friendship with Jules, and repeatedly stated that she was willing to fight Jules, calling them "silly" and "stupid". She tends to be very sarcastic, especially regarding Jules and even more so regarding other members of their species. Romea also tends to think of other people as being beneath her unless she gets to know them, straight-up calling Braker and his team "bozos" and continuing to do so even after her capture. Romea is a very solitary Pokemon, preferring to keep to herself save for any and all possible interactions with Jules that occur; however, being on a team of Pokemon has helped a bit with this solitary mindset and has allowed her to make a few friends in Braker and Walter. She still gets extremely annoyed by Jules, though, and is more or less neutral towards Cuddles-- while she refuses his hugs, she tolerates him far better than Jules, and is more polite towards him. For the most part, however, she still would much prefer to fight alone. Romea also enjoys Pokemon battles very much, and is by far and away the most violent member of Braker's team, willing to tear opponents to shreds and eagerly enjoy doing so in the process. She became very excited when Braker offered to film Ian and Kim's Circhester Gym Battles, before quickly getting shocked and annoyed when Jules revealed that they had never seen a Gym Battle before. Despite her tough and cynical exterior, however, it's implied that Romea also has a softer side and does care about Jules, as evidenced by her slight defensiveness when asked directly by Jules why she came all the way to Galar with them if she claimed to not be their friend.

Trivia
- Romea's name comes from the feminine form of "Romeo", as in the Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet, due to Jules and Romea essentially being "star-crossed lovers" from tribes of feuding Pokemon. Additionally, Romea's sardonic and violent nature makes her the more traditionally masculine of the two, yet she was given the name's feminine form due to her being female.
- According to Goldenheart388, Romea's Hasslemon handle is raucousMongoose (RM), which serves as a fitting description of her personality and violent behavior, but is also her name minus the vowels (RoMea).
- According to Goldenheart388, Romea's regular character theme is "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace, her Broadway character theme is "Funny Honey" from Chicago, and her headcanon voice is Mippa as Undyne in Man on the Internet's Undertale musical.
