Name Basis

Charybdis is named for one of a pair of sea monsters from Greek myth, the other being Scylla.

Personality

Charybdis considers herself superior to all other Pokémon. She considers any opponent she faces to be beneath her. However, she does respect her trainer.

Abilities in Battle

Charybdis is the single strongest mon on Mezzo's team in terms of raw power, and possesses devastating special attacks. She can also use physical attacks, but not quite as well.

History

Charybdis was caught as a Deino on Unova's Victory Road. Before she evolved to Hydreigon, she was a favorite target of Felis' remarks. After she evolved, the first thing she did was hit Felis with a Dragon Pulse so powerful it prevented him from walking for a week.

Achievements

• Managed to fight an ebony Steelix to a draw in an underground tournament.
• Is the only mon on Mezzo's team that can be safely Surfed on (Spiny does not count, as he has Rough Skin).

Relationships

Charybdis hates Felis, due to his treatment of her before she evolved. It amuses her to see him squirm in terror at her presence now.

Charybdis is currently in the care of Rex, due to her ball having been misplaced or stolen somehow.

Charybdis was a lieutenant in the Black Guard. She was killed when Napoleon's forces invaded Black City.
