Ovis is Tagg's male Ampharos, who he met at Flocessy Ranch. A rather shy mon, he prefers to stay close to the team, who he's taken to as his flock.

Battling Strategy

Ovis is pretty much a special-based Azumarill in terms of combat, though he doesn't have quite as much stamina. He tends to open fights with paralyzing opponents before attacking.

In the AU Ovis was never caught by Tagg, and ended up being taken to Kanto by the dragons on pain of death for him and his flock if he refused due to his ability to read human script.

Relationships

• Ovis gets along well with Anguis, when he isn't annoying him about Setsuna.
• He also appears to be friendly with Azumarill
• Ovis and Setsuna appear to at least be friendly acquaintances.
• Ovis appears to look up to Shaun as an older brother.
