PMD-B
The PMD-B verse is actually not a 'verse of its own but a distant future of the Alternate Timeline, and conceptually an offshot from it forked from the Draconic Uprising, creating a mon-based verse much in the vein of PMD-A, the mon verse based on the Mystery Dungeon games; hence it's name, PMD-"B". Much like PMD-A, humans from other universes will transform into Pokémon upon entering.
This timeline is the product of humanity "losing" the Draconic Uprising war without figuring out a way to turn the humans transfigured into Pokémon by the Mon Bombs back to normal, but managing to defeat the dragons in counter uprisings. Thus the world continued to evolve in a short time of disarray, and from there into a wholly mon-based culture. Some 600-years later or so, the main cast ends up being transported to this timeframe due to the shattering of the "Plot Crystal" or Time-Space Orb, whose shards also cause Mystery Dungeons to appear within the universe during the PMD Returns Arc.

Geography and Region Details
The geography of this world is essentially the same of the Alternate Timeline, with the main regions still existing. However with the loss of human written form and the passage of time, things like names of locations, lore and economy have suffered heavy modifications.
Kanto
- Viridian City has been renamed as "The Verde". Much like Azalea, a lot of the former city has disappeared due to the encroaching forest.
- Saffron City is known as "The Capital."
- In the south there is a area known as the Lodestone ruins, where a Rotom living in what was once Straw's home rules over several Magnemite line mons.
- Celadon City is now known as "Octapolis", due to the colors of the Rainbow Badge, and still has an expansive underground.
- Route 7 is now known as "Vinebush", a town of mostly Grass types and mons that migrated from Saffron city and Celadon City.
- The Power Plant is now known as "Digital Circuit" and is largely uninhabited due to debris and the destroyed machinery.
Johto
- As with other regions, location names have suffered some deterioration. For example, "Golrod".
- The Ruins of Alph where rebuilt at some point and are now the "Unruins" or "non-Ruins". There are trading posts there and the Puzzles are also available.
- The "Sacred Forest", previously the Ilex Forest, has expanded to the east and engulfed what was once Azalea Town. There are colonies of Sewaddle living there as well.
- What remains of Goldenrod City, most likely the strongest buildings, is lorded over by Murkrow Murders who presumably fly to nearby areas to collect and steal interesting objects without any evil intention.
- The Johto Nidoran Colony is still existing and self-policing, though now moved to the north and lording the "Golden Forests" which form a triangle between Ecruteak, former Goldenrod and Violet. Not counting the western Empire, they are the faction with the strongest political independence in the region.
- The Bell Tower is still standing and functions as the regal place and nest of Nyx, current Ho-Oh. The locals call the place "Her Perch".
- Packs of Houndour now live in a settlement (not Mahogany!) near the Lake of Rage; these are descendants of a Water-type Houndourδ named Tanamo and have Water-type in one of its possible combinations.
- At the core of what in the OU is called Firuzland, that is, the wildlands west from Olivine, exists an empire lorded by "ancient"-type Pokémon. They have large economical reach over the region boosted by their ability to provide eg.: better seeds for trading.
- The areas to the east and west of Olivine are controlled by the forces of the Miltank Legion.
- Violet City and the areas to the east of it are now controlled by a theocracy of Bellsprout and allied mons based in the Sprout Tower.
Hoenn
- Hoenn has nominally become a federated empire ruled by the remnants of the [Japanese] royal family, but is really a collection of de facto independent states which bicker from time to time but generally get along.
- Slateport, Mauville, Pacifidlog, the Mirage Kingdom, and a few other places are known as "The Bay", a hotbed of political intrigue ruled by oligarchs based on the Illiac Bay from The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. A war a few years before the start of PMD-R between the Mirage Kingdom and Slateport led to the death of King Lysandus of Slateport, and decreased stability in the Hoenn region. Prior to the efforts of Abigail, Rojos, and Team Nova, King Lysandus' ghost haunted the city due to his murder at the hands of Lord Woodborne. Following the Warp in the South caused by the activation of Numidium, peace has returned to the Bay, though political intrigue remains.
- 1/3 of human-descended mons happen to be draconic species, which has had the unfortunate side result of other powers considering Hoenn little more than a rump state for the forces of the Seven Jerk Dragons.
Sinnoh
- Ever since the Sinnoh Distortion, humans never truly got a permanent hold again in this continent. As such, it might have suffered the least attack during the draconic uprising.
- Eterna City has kept its name.
- An Alakagross ruin was revealed sometime in the past 600 years and re-purposed to become Chrome Town.
Unova
- As with other regions, location names have suffered some deterioration. For example, "Druftvoil".
- Helios now rules the desert kingdom in the place of his mother Celestia. It is shown that he has a Switzerland-esque guard corps and that some of his descendants, presumably with Algira, are Surskit living in the nearby river.
- White Forest is known as Blanc Wood.
- Opelucid is the main home of Dragon types in the region and happens to have a museum detailing the events of the AU Arc, including the skull of Scolipede's Hydreigon's main head.
- A faction known as the Seekers of Knowledge have set up shop in Nacrene in and around what was once the Nacrene Museum.
Orre
- Orre has the Kingdom Of Fire And Earth, or the Kingdom of Regalam, a small kingdom of desert 'mons centered around the ruins of Realgam Tower, which have been modified into a castle. It is ruled by Darter the Flygon (son of PMD-B!Marmalade and PMD-B!Speck) and PMD-B!Jenna, who was turned into a Larvesta by the Draconic Uprising and is now a Volcarona. Ammy is a potential heir to this kingdom.
Fiore
- Current status unknown, though likely at least partially within the Miltank Legion's sphere of influence.
Almia
- Almia is somewhere in-between Sinnoh and the other main regions on the civilization scale.
- The people of Haruba Village have all become Rattata or Foongi, and the village name has decayed to Dry Dry Harba.
Oblivia
- Current status unknown.
Kalos
- Ruled by numerous warring Fairy-type kingdoms, known as the Fairy Ring.
Alola
- Dragons were fought off by the Tapu after the initial bombings, preventing them from establishing a foothold in the region. Due to its isolation from most other regions, not much else is known of how it fared in the aftermath, though it can be assumed the region is de facto independent of the [United States].
Galar
- Status unknown.
Inhabitants
Much like PMD-A, PMD-B's social structure can be understood as one separated between "civilized" mons (Primarily descended from transfigured humans, or humons, their Pokémon partners, and any Pokémon that lived closely adjacent to humans such as strays and urban wildmon populations), identified by clothing such as scarves and bows, and "feral" mons made up primarily of wildmon stock who live as their ancestors always had. Despite this delineation, there is a fair amount of gene flow between the two, and it is not unusual for mons from one group to be descended from or closely related to Pokémon from another, though "civilized" mons tend to have a higher amount of humon admixture. "Civilized" Pokémon living in aquatic areas separate themselves from "ferals" by using objects such as ropes, which can lead to culture clashes with Pokémon from the surface mistaking them for "ferals", an infamous example being the diplomatic incident that erupted from the killing of King Wada due to him being mistaken for a rogue feral by the inhabitants of Slateport when he arrived as a third party during a battle between forces of Slateport, the Empire of the Ancients, and the Miltank Legion.
Humans still exist as a result of most of the legendaries using their power to protect those not yet transfigured by the mon bombs, and are immune to the fallout but number only enough to keep themselves from dying out through inbreeding, so the world at large considers them extinct save for particular holdouts such as the Angela region. However, they can still be transfigured in more concentrated ways such as through the use of human to Pokémon Armbands and presumably other transformation objects. It is unknown if they are susceptible to becoming Weremons, but it is fairly likely.
Tech Levels
Tech levels can vary wildly based on settlement, though on average they can be best described as pre-industrial, with some settlements and groups scavenging or maintaining old world tech for use in things such as small scale electricity generation and Gummi manufacturing.
Main Events
c. 600 years pre PMD Returns Arc
(Prior to this point events proceed mostly the same as in the AU proper)
- DS is killed by Velvet following her abuse of the Lustrous Orb to try changing the universe.
- Draconic Uprising.
- Dragons turn most of humanity into Pokémon using Mon Bombs.
- PEFE HQ is crippled in a surprise attack by the dragons and its researchers scattered, preventing a cure for the Mon Bombs from being created.
- In Sinnoh remnants of the PEFE are forced to retreat from superior dragon forces, Tagg and his mons getting separated from the main group while running through the Space Tunnels and end up in Angela, linking up with soldiers and other rebels to make a guerrilla force assisted with government power armor.
- Tagg defeats Julda, leader of Angela's dragons, in single combat, liberating the region.
- Straw is killed fighting the dragons in Kanto via getting impaled on a Rhydon's horn prior to Mon Bombs being dropped on the region in earnest.
- Inka slaughters the Dragon-type population of the Dragon's Den, down to even hatchlings and unhatched eggs, branding her a war criminal and leaving the cavern abandoned for the next six centuries.
- Zurin, a Druddigon, ends up being the soul used to power the Mantella Gem that activates Numidium, but rebels when the reality warping Alakagross mecha is used on Hoenn, the effect of doing so turning him into the Underking trapped between life and death.
- The [Japanese] royal family ends up fleeing to Hoenn in the chaos due to its relative stability compared to the other regions, a notarized letter written on a napkin detailing the incident getting lost, which combined with Hoenn's majority draconic humon population (Including the royal family) leads the rest of the world to consider Hoenn merely a rump state for the Seven Jerk Dragons.
Immediate Post Uprising Period (599-511 years pre PMD Returns Arc)
- During the counter-uprisings, the Seven Jerk Dragons save for Drake/Paarthurnax, who joins the rebellion, are deposed and killed, their remnants scattered to the winds.
- The humons start making the beginnings of post-human society amongst the slowly crumbling ruins of their cities.
- Tagg forms the Brotherhood of Steel out of his old rebel group, as Gamer forms the Cult of the Elder Moth.
- Tagg recovers his parents, and later Ann, the latter involving the defeat of a Hoennian Gastrodon necromaster and the corrupt governor Richton.
- Tagg visits the ruined PEFE HQ and reestablishes contact with Tracer and Tangent, but are still unable to turn people back.
- Helios becomes king of the Hoenn desert, taking over from his mother Celestia, with Audilith becoming his advisor.
~c. 510 years pre PMD Returns Arc
- AU!Tagg's PMD-B counterpart dies of old age after fighting off a massive band of Raiders, entombing himself with the Adamant Orb.
- Draca, Garchomp, and Hydreigon leave the Brotherhood and make their own way.
59 years pre PMD Returns Arc
- September 19: Ammy is born. (2553)
- Ammy is stolen from her parents in Orre by Maleficent in an attempt to restart the Dragon War.
1 year pre PMD Returns Arc
- A war erupts over Almer between The Bay (Primarily Slateport), the Empire of the Ancients, and the Miltank Legion. (2611)
- Wada, Gyarados king of an undersea kingdom of mons within the portion of the Sea of Kyogre between Johto and Hoenn, is mistaken for a rogue pirate feral during the battle and killed by Slateport forces, widowing Queen Oto and leaving their unborn child without a father.
- King Lysandus of Slateport is murdered by Lord Woodborne of Mauville either directly or by an assassin's hand the night before the battle despite the efforts of Gortwog's Cubone tribe to stop it, officially he dies in combat during it. His ghost, a Dusknoir, ends up haunting Slateport's streets at night demanding vengeance for his murder. This is part of his and Elysana's plan to take control of the Bay and break off from the rest of Hoenn, aided by Lysandus' own son Gothryd.
