Amaterasu is either brave or stupid. She enjoys fooling around with post-hypnotic triggers placed on her trainer and just having a good time in general.

Battle Strategy

Amaterasu implements a mixture of hit-n’-run and keepaway. She has a penchant for torching most opponents that come at her unless she can’t damage them all that well with fire.

Trivia

• Amaterasu likes speaking Japanese, but knows when not to do it.
• Whenever she is human, her shirt has a single kanji character on it, typically reflective of what she is thinking, doing, or feeling. It is adaptive, meaning the kanji can change without her having to shift between forms.
  • Any attire she wears has this attribute. For example, when she dressed as Rosalina for Halloween one year the star highlights at the bottom of her dress had this attribute.
• When human she answers to “Amy Hikari”, although she has on one occasion been referred to as “Amaterasu Hikari-Rever”.
• She uses a single wisp in Will-o-Wisp, Confuse Ray and Hypnosis.
