Lefty, full name Lefty McStabbington, is a Kabutops obtained by Jack inside the Magic Mirror. A former crewmember of Captain Hook, Lefty has the personality of a pirate, including his accent and choice of clothing, complete with an eyepatch that covers his right eye.

Personality

Lefty is a Pirate - or at least used to be one - and it shows in both his personality and appearance. Most notably, the pokemon speaks with a stereotypical pirate accent. Additionally, Lefty dresses like a pirate as well, despite how most pokemon don't bother with clothing at all. The most notable of this clothing is an eyepatch covering Lefty's right eye. This also provides Lefty with his primary name, since in his own words, "I be relyin' on me left eye to see". Additionally, Lefty wears a pair of pants, a duel belt that wraps around both his waist and from left shoulder to right hip, and a pair of pirate boots.

History

Lefty was originally a member of Captain Hook's crew inside the Magic Mirror. During the duel aboard the ship, Lefty helped ambush Runt, then dueled Penny. When the Beedrill bested her, she forced him to surrender and become her minion, leading to Jack capturing Lefty and adding him to his team.
