Mementos

Mementos can be best described as the Palace of all Hearts, being a CU subplane where the Shadow Selves of those with distorted desires not at the level of a Palace Ruler end up. Similarly to the Palaces, beings with the power of Persona will appear here in their Thief outfits. Each of its paths reflect a region and have at least 10 floors, all teeming with Shadows. Due to their sheer size, traversal is made easier by Morgan turning into a bus by using Cognition, who also makes it easier to pinpoint where a given Shadow Self may be hiding.

Access

Mementos can be accessed by using the Metaverse app anywhere that happens to be a place where people go for transportation, such as a train or ferry station.

Mementos Levels

Kanto

Known as the Chromatic Path, this section of Mementos resembles the former Lavender Pokémon Tower prior to its conversion into a radio tower. Rows of tombstones and mausoleums are found everywhere in each of the halls and a sense of overbearing creepiness permeates the area.

Johto

Known as the Electrum Path, this section of Mementos is made up of halls of a burned temple with rubble and the smell of smoke and destruction everywhere.

Hoenn

Known as the Crystalline Path, this section of Mementos is flooded knee-high with water and the walls pulse with barely-contained magma. The area is studded with random trees, rocky crags and shrubs, the Secret Bases of the region’s Shadow Selves.

Sinnoh

Known as the Translucent Path, this section of Mementos resembles the Sinnoh Underground on a map, but in actuality time and space warp the tunnels into unusual configurations. Similarly to Hoenn, Shadow Selves have made their home in Secret Bases.

Unova

Known as the Monochromatic Path, this section of Mementos is made up of subway tunnels containing broken and twisted train tracks. The walls are cracked open and the conduits within are exposed, red lightning arcs from power lines and blue flame erupts from gas mains. Everything has a heightened sense of reality and an overbearing feel of symbolism.

Kalos

Known as the Axial Path, this section of Mementos consists of cathedral and castle ruins underground supported by a unnerving mix of natural and macabre imagery. Trees grow boney branches, with pulsing red flesh that wind like vines. Skeletons can be seen posing in the tableaus of the Tarot.

Alola

Known as the Celestial Path, this section of Mementos consists of temple ruins from a world with no light. Any iconography is formless, meaningless, and unsettling. The worst part of everything is the utter lack of any background noise.

Galar

Known as the Armory Path, stone walls and turning gears are the main theme, with a light fog rolling along the floor of this path. The eerie silence is occasionally punctuated by a beast’s howl in the distance.

Orre

Known as the Silicon Path, this section of Mementos consists of craggy walls with lava cracks and trees interwoven. The halls here have exceedingly dry air, although there is no real heat. Unsettlingly, sand lightly blows along the ground or swirls through the air despite there being no wind.

Holon

Known as the Storm Path, this section of Mementos consists of stone corridors with multicolored crystal formations jutting out from the walls. The air seems to hum with electricity and the distant sounds of thunder can always be heard here.
