Belial is Joseph's Arcanine. His name is a common name for demons, but was named for Belial Aensland of the Darkstalkers video game series.

Personality

Belial is boisterous and affable outside of battle, but in battle he is fierce and unrelenting. However, he dearly loves his wife Morrigan and his daughter Skoll. Despite his fearsome appearance, he is somewhat henpecked, and rarely raises complaints about anything Morrigan suggests.

Like his wife, he speaks in a Scottish accent for unexplained reasons.

Abilities in Battle

Belial is a very strong physical attacker, and likes overwhelming his opponent with onslaughts of Flare Blitzes and Close Combats. He can use special moves with success, however.

Relationships

Belial loves Morrigan dearly, though she definitely wears the pants in the relationship.

He also loves Skoll, and helps her train to be the best Houndoom she can be.

Like almost everyone on Joseph's team, he holds some animosity towards Felis, and he and Morrigan often try and fight him.
