This page deals with an out of universe or otherwise meta aspect of the RP.
How to join WAAPT...
(aka "So You Want to Join WAAPT")
The overall process is very easy.
- Prepare a signup sheet containing information about...
- your character name / history and some other information about yourself
- your team - 1 or more Pokémon (though only 6 on hand at a time), no Legendaries allowed.
- Check your character against the Content Essay on joining the RP and the Tone Essay, as well as any rules and guidelines in the Signup Thread's OP that haven't yet been mirrored here.
- Post your signup in the fancy-shmancy Signup Thread.
- Upon being accepted, read the FAQ and Background Lore Index.
- Read about 25 pages of the RP, and/or read along for about a week. Once you've done so, name the most recent thing you can remember either in the Discord or in the Discussion thread on TV Tropes.
- Do an interaction in the main thread, preferably with an experienced player.
- ???
- Profit!
Important note: be prepared to talk about your signup and discuss some details and modifications.
