Name Basis

Nevermore is named after the recurring phrase in "The Raven": "Quoth the raven, nevermore."

Personality

Nevermore thinks of herself as the boss and Mezzo and her other Pokémon as her minions. She is very pushy and demanding and is not above pecking her trainer in the head until those demands are met. Whenever she meets a new mon, she thinks of him or her as a new minion.

Abilities in Battle

Nevermore tends to rely on her "minions" for support in fights, but can fight one-on-one when it's needed. Unlike most of her species, she prefers special attacks over physical.

History

Mezzo met and caught Nevermore while traveling through Eterna Forest at night. After she evolved, instead of gathering a murder like most Honchkrow, she just considered Mezzo and her other mons to be her murder.

Achievements

• Led an invasion of the Johto Safari Zone from Mezzo's box, along with her other mons that were boxed at the time.
• In the AU, broke Crowbar's bone by smashing it upon his head using Foul Play.
• Caused a Blue Screen of Death in Mezzo's laptop, along with Felis.

Relationships

Nevermore does not like Felis, due to the fact that he usually brushes her off when she asks him to do something.

Nevermore considered Salamence to be a good student of hers, but later turned against her as she thought Salamence was a threat to her dominance.

In the AU

Nevermore was a lieutenant in the Black Guard. She led a battalion of Murkrow, with Mercury among them. She was killed by Napoleon's forces when he invaded Nimbasa City.
