Crusher

Crusher is Poppy's Aron, and the fourth she acquired during the Neo-Sinnoh Arc.

Personality

Crusher, unlike most members of his species, is a bit scared. He often cowers in fear of his opponents, and he's very defensive. He's also lonely, as neither Shroomy nor Sunrise seem to know what to do with him, and neither does Donut. But this has improved, as Nessa has shown an interest in him.

Backstory

Crusher's backstory is tied with fellow member Sunrise's, as seen on her character page. After the incident, Crusher felt guilty and ostracised himself from the clan, hoping one day to see her again. When that hope came true, he revealed that it was all a misunderstanding, and was saved from falling rocks by Poppy tossing a Pokeball at him.

Battle Strategy

When Crusher appears in battle, he appears to look tough and confident, but the facade doesn't last long. He especially struggles facing Fighting-type and Ground-type opponents, and finds himself using Protect or Iron Defense a lot.

Relationships

• Poppy: Crusher is grateful for Poppy, being his trainer and the one to rescue him. He is unsure about her naming him Crusher, though.
• Donut: Strangely enough, the two have begun an unlikely friendship - mainly due to Donut never being outright hateful towards him.
• Shroomy: Crusher is a frequent target of Shroomy's parenting due to his fear.
• Sunrise: Despite the fact that the misunderstanding between them has been cleared, time will tell how the two will interact with one another. After being saved from Titan Orthworm by her, he does feel grateful towards her.
• Nessa: He finds comfort in Nessa due to her not thinking he's a coward, and the two have formed a friendship.
• Stormwind: Due to Stormwind's love for battles (and himself) he doesn't relate to him.
• Lila: He also doesn't relate to Lila's quirks.
