Easel Town

Easel Town is a settlement in Kanto located an indeterminate distance west from Viridian City while still technically being within its sphere, and the hometown of Tagg and Ann. It is most infamous for bordering the forest known as the Sea of Trees.

Within PMD-B, Easel was abandoned during the Dragon War, and the Sea of Trees ended up devouring it and forming a near unbroken forest between it and, The Verde, the ruins of Viridian City.

Trivia

• In keeping with Kanto's towns and cities having a color and painting theme, an easel is a object traditionally used by painters to support a painting while they work on it, and/or display their completed works.
• Kendra's family is said to come from the area, though Kendra herself was born in Unova.
