Appearance
Her features are angular and stern, yet betray just a slight bit of her true warmness. Pale skin accentuates jet black hair, cut in a short, shaved undercut, and stormy blue-gray eyes. Tall and rectangular - built like a fridge with muscles to match, and covered with many tattoos. Her left leg is amputated just above the knee, necessitating the use of a prosthetic. As a result of her vampirism, she has developed a forked tongue, elongated canine teeth, and a slight glow to her eyes. Isbrand favors wearing black, white, and purple, and is never seen without multiple ear and eyebrow piercings.
Isbrand has several tattoos - an ouroborous-Eternatus eating its tail on her right calf, a black, elongated angel wing on her right back, a rose on her collarbone, and a geometric pattern in traditional [Ainu] fashion on her left forearm, among unspecified others. She also has a brand of Dialga on her right shoulder.
Isbrand normally wears a Hyul-derived prosthetic, made of a smooth black metal in a segmented pattern, with detailed Jomon pottery accents, along with visible fuel lines which glow with purple light. It's very advanced and can be summoned or dismissed with her wristpad, but does require her to have access to her Ink fuel. She also has a simple, utilitarian gunmetal gray prosthetic leg, based on simple hydraulics and electricity, used in the absence of the other.
Dragon Tamer
Isbrand's current adventuring outfit. A sleeveless, cropped white turtleneck, bearing the name and snowflake-pentagram logo of Hail Warning, worn alongside studded black jeans with a white leather belt. On her right foot she wears her black-and-white mechanic's boot, and on her right she wears a black leather pauldron (connected to a harness) and a purple metal plate armguard with a white undersleeve; her bracer-wrispad covers her left forearm, while she wears a spiked bracelet and her fingerless Mega Glove on her right. A broad cape, black with white lining, flows behind her, extra fabric bundled around her neck. Her piercings are all black metal hoops, and her lipstick is purple. Her Luminite dagger rests in a sheath at her left waist.
Hyulian Half-Plate
A set of quick-deployment armor, made from the smooth black and pale ochre metals of old Hyul, and lit by ubes of synth-Ink glow bright purple. The helmet is stylized to resembled Dialga, and has glowing blue eyes in addition to the fuel tubes. The torso is a partial cuirass, stopping just above the heart, connected to a proper, but similarly slim plackart to protect her organs. The arms are covered by a set of rerebraces and vambraces, and the legs by matching cuisses and greaves.
The helmet has night-vision and IFF capability, while the rest of the armor can utilize the ink-fuel to project defensive barriers or offensive projectiles.
Galar League
Isbrand's uniform was a standard black-and-white uniform, accompanied with her cropped white leather jacket, with her number "31" stitched on the back with black leather.
Other Outfits
On her arrival to the OU, and for the remainder of the Entralink arc, Isbrand a chain-studded black leather jacket, an old black band t-shirt, dark gray jeans with multiple chain-belts, and black combat boots. She wore a combination of eleven hoop and stud earrings, and had a silver tongue stud.
From Galar onward, she replaced the jacket with a white, studded, cropped leather jacket given to her by then-girlfriend Lita, and changed to more plain set of ripped black jeans with a studded belt.
At some point later on, she developed a preference for t-shirts made by/for Hail Warning, Jamie's band. She acquired a spiked choker, replaced her jeans with shorts, and commissioned a hand-tailored boot for her right leg that evens out perfectly with her prosthetic leg.
She also owns a set of black, generically dragon-themed plate armor, as well as a functional replica of Alucard's famous Symphony of the Night outfit.
Personality
Blunt and can be harsh, but is ultimately good-intentioned. Snarky and sarcastic, but easy to get along with if she likes you. Otherwise, she'll keep you at arms' length - and she might even do that if she likes you, to keep herself safe. She's prone to quick bursts of emotion, especially anger. Would fight to the death to protect anyone she cares about. Obsesses over her goals.
History
Pre Debut
Isbrand was born to a future-timeline version of Siobhán and Jessica Sapphire, along with her sibling Miika. She grew up on their family's ranch, and was always particularly interested in machinery. When she set out on her Trainer journey at the age of 10, she eventually became a junior researcher at PEFE, under Ace's tutelage, and after taking time to pursue formal education was set to join the R&D department in an official capacity. At a a celebratory dinner with her family, that future was dashed when the Glitch known as The Beast attacked the world, sending it into a post-apocalyptic state. While Isbrand and Miika managed to survive - unlike 75% of the population - they were unsatisfied with their world's outcome, and while the rest of the world rebuilt Isbrand continued researching the Beast, ultimately determining that it originated during the events of the Skybreak. She then developed a machine that would "tap into" the Entree, and the Skybreak specifically, and allow them one chance to avert the ruined future - and avenge her parents.
Entralink
Isbrand arrived in the OU through a rift in space-time, accompanied by her sibling Miika. Due to their status as Fallers (and flaws in Isbrand's theories), they lost many of their memories of their future, but retained enough to remember their family and their goal. They then made their way to the J-Team and assisted in the fight against Mobius and the invading threats, while slowly recovering their memories.
Notable accomplishments of hers include slaying the Beast that destroyed her home timeline, assisting in the fight against Gudrunn and the Megabug, and successfully reverse-engineering Hyul technology.
Galar
Isbrand challenged the Galar League alongside Siobhán, narrowly defeating them in the semi-finals before going on to defeat Leon and ultimately claim her place in the Galar Hall of Fame. In-between gyms, she focused on improving her skills as both an Obscuric and a Trainer, in addition to recovering from the aftermath of the Skybreak. After her League challenge, she returned to PEFE HQ, continuing her work on Hyul-derived technology. When her parents disappeared from the OU, she devoted herself to bringing them back.
Neo-Sinnoh
Isbrand began researching multiversal travel in order to recover the missing Fallers. She isolated herself from most of the world, breaking off her relationships, romantic and platonic, to focus on her work.
Paldea
Isbrand completed work on the initial prototype wormhole navigator, and took the upgraded Shadow Rout on it's maiden voyage. After returning to the OU, she became heavily disheartened upon realizing her work would not enable her to recover the missing trio and further succumbed to depression, remaining isolated. She then switched her research focus to Aura-based technology, hoping to both strengthen herself and help buy the many School escapees more time, in addition to trying to reconnect with the world and repair her relationships.

In the restored version of her timeline, another Isbrand exists, who went on to have a successful career at PEFE and developed many groundbreaking technologies, ultimately having a happy and fulfilling life.
