Kenji

Kenji is Poppy's Riolu, and the twenty-ninth she acquired during the Paldea Arc.

Personality

Kenji is a Pokemon who knows exactly what he wants to become - a hero. To do this, he is always striving to get stronger, but he's also capable of sitting back and relaxing. He particularly admires Poppy's strength in battle, seeing her as a mentor figure. He enjoys sparring with some of Poppy's strongest mons, and even if he's defeated, he gets back up. He brings a great amount of enthusiasm to the team, and is intrigued by Poppy's 'mysterious past'. Though Poppy wonders, if she came across someone like Layla and Gideon, would he have that same enthusiasm, or would he feel fear?
