Pirika is a Red Flower Floette Ian befriended during the Entralink Arc, though he hasn't caught her. She works for Tamamo-no-Mae.

Pirika is a fun-loving, yet dutiful Pokémon who likes to take lots of notes. She's also a bit of a prankster, tending to get the drop on Ian and Piku-chan.

History

Pirika first met Ian in Accumula Town after a fairly recent outbreak of Furret (in which Ian caught Floof). She appeared right behind him and scared him with her shadow. After Ian and Piku-chan calmed down, she told them that the world is in need of Magical Girls to protect them from a glitch that had been sealed away by her employer's trainer 400 years ago and has recently escaped. Ian agreed to Pirika's terms and the two of them formed a magical contract (signed by Ian with his lucky pen) and Pirika took the contract with her, becoming Ian's Magical Boy patron. Since the contract was formed, Pirika has been tasked with taking notes on the trainer in her charge's progress, using her flower's stem as a pen.

• Tamamo-no-Mae is Pirika's employer. She likes the tasks given to her and makes sure to do them well.

• Ian is her contractee. She is tasked with reporting on his progress and taking notes of his battle style.

• Pirika's name was given to her by Ian when they met again in Motostoke.
• Pirika's nickname comes from the Ainu word for "beautiful" and "good".
  • It is also a reference to Doremi Harukaze's main spell "Pirika Pirilala Popolina Peperuto".
