Simon is quite a quirky fellow. Depending on circumstances, he can be as eloquent as Axon and a total goofball as well. He cares for his friends and would use his psychic powers and hypnosis to protect them if needed.

Battle Strategy

In battle, Simon relies on his wit in battle. More often than not, he starts by increasing his strength with Meditate and then following into a variety of attacks, such as Shadow Ball and Psychic. When opportunities present themselves, he will use his Hypnosis to drop an opponent's guard. Whatever hijinks follow are dependent on whoever he is teamed up with at the moment.

History

Simon was just minding his own business on Route 11, just meandering, when he runs into Evelyn while she was training under Sabrina. Hatty got Evelyn to check her Pokédex and warned her not to look him in the eyes. However, Evelyn looked him in the eyes anyway, causing Hatty to facepalm. The Hypno looks into Evelyn's brown eyes and moved to put her into a trance. He began to swing his pendulum back and forth, however, instead of hypnotizing the witch girl, a telepathic link had been formed between the two of them that allowed them to gain an understanding about each other. Before either of them knew it, they had become good friends, with the Hypno eventually allowing Evelyn to catch him.
