Sinatra's self-demonstrating page is here.

Sinatra is Kimberly Bond's Furret, and the second Pokemon she acquired on her journey.

Appearance

In his Pokemon form, Sinatra resembles a normal Furret, though he is sometimes seen with a top hat, cane, and microphone, especially when he is performing. He is often seen with a cocky grin or a quizzical expression on his face, depending on his mood.

In his human form (Artanis "Art" Francis), Sinatra appears as a tall late twenty-something man with short brown hair. He is now constantly seen in his top hat, and wears a beige undershirt with a brown suit over top of it, along with a beige and brown scarf around his neck patterned similarly to a Furret's tail. He also wears brown jeans, black socks, and brown shoes, and can sometimes be seen carrying around a piece of dice.

Personality and characteristics

Sinatra, much like his namesake, is snarky and charismatic, with a bit of a hair-trigger temper. He is probably the most sane member of Kimberly Bond's team with the exception of Ozzy, and can be a bit vain, especially while performing; just before his performance of "New York, New York" he told the crowd that if they didn't enjoy his performance, "(they) got no taste in music". Additionally, during the Battle of the Bands, he became rather miffed when he didn't get the chance to play the trumpet (only two performances happened that day; Sinatra was supposed to play the trumpet on "Vienna", which was never performed). He has a tendency to snark at everything around him, but genuinely does mean well; due to this, Kim very often compares him to Kendall in terms of general personality. In battle, he much prefers to fight first and ask questions later, more or less making him the exact opposite of Paul. He's not as into battling as Dio is, though, and will still use status moves-- most notably Foresight, which he can use to shock Ghost-type Pokemon who don't otherwise expect it (though he has yet to actually perform it on screen, much to his evident frustration).

Like Paul, he absolutely adores his namesake's music, and has a very powerful singing voice that both Kim and Paul have referred to as beautiful. Sinatra has a strong sense of justice, much like Ozzy and Dave, as evidenced by his righteous anger when he found out about what happened to Dio for the first time (namely, Dio was gaslighted and scarred by his old, abusive Trainer). Additionally, despite his hair-trigger temper and his vanity, he is still very much a supportive friend to the rest of Kim's team members, and can be somewhat gentle when he needs to be, particularly in regards to the easily panicked Freddie. The most notable example of this was when he comforted Geddy over the death of Neil Peart, and also when he gently (if bluntly) convinced Freddie to come along with the rest of the team in order to do so. Later on, he proceeded to do the same to Orwell upon the latter expressing his belief that he was going to become evil due to him being a Dark-type.

He has a thick Brooklyn/Jersey accent and plays the trumpet in New Dawn's Dreamers.

Kim's personality file on him reads as follows:

"NEW POKEMON CAUGHT: SINATRA THE SENTRET. VERY CHARISMATIC. LIKES TO BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. APPARENTLY HE HAS A STUBBORN STREAK, ACCORDING TO THE POKEDEX. THAT WOULD EXPLAIN HIS LOVE OF "MY WAY", THEN. WONDER IF HE KNOWS THAT TECHNICALLY, THAT SONG'S KALOSIAN. HE ALSO HAS A BROOKLYN ACCENT AND PLAYS THE TRUMPET. I WASN'T INTENDING TO HAVE A TRUMPET SOLO IN MY BATTLE OF THE BANDS PERFORMANCE, BUT I'M PRETTY SURE WE CAN FIT ONE IN THERE SOMEHOW. JUST GOTTA THINK OF A SONG THAT COULD WORK..."

Background

Prior to meeting Kimberly Bond, Sinatra was a traveling vagabond Sentret musician (hence his Hasslemon handle, wanderingMustelid (WM). He would wander around the Johto and Kanto regions and perform classic hits by artists such as Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, and his future namesake Frank Sinatra, who was his favorite artist. No Pokemon gave him any money (for obvious reasons), but they did sometimes give him a few gold coins they found on the street and would toss them into his hat. Most of the currency they would give him, however, would be seashells, bones, potions, or food, which was how he managed to survive on the streets before meeting Kim. The attention he received from other Pokemon as a result of his musical performances led to him having the slight ego complex that he is known for.
