Personality
Yukari is serious regardless of what she's doing. She can be annoyed over whenever people don't know basic Pokémon informations and tricks. She is also a bit stiff when interacting with others, as she sometimes get a bit ahead of herself. Despite this, underneath all her seriousness and stiff lies an kind, yet socially awkward girl who is just trying her best. She believes that her naming skills are bad, despite what others have say about it. She rarely gets anger, but there are times where she does (ex. Bad trainers abusing their Pokémon). However, regardless of whenever she's angry or not, she sometimes gets a head of herself before talking to others about it, something Joker chides her for.
Biography
Before attending Naranja y Uva Academy
Nothing is known about Yukari's life prior to being a student at Naranja y Uva Academy other than the fact that she's been a Pokémon trainer for seven years with Joker. While she doesn't mention about her parents, she does note that she have caretakers from Kanto that took care of her when she was, in her own words, small.
The Treasure Hunt And The Fiery Bunny Badge Bandit
Yukari attend the class and was informed that the Treasure hunt is starting today. Realizing that it might take a few days away from her dorms during this, she went and bought an tent and a few camping supplies. Explaining to her Pokémons that she is doing an treasure hunt and decided to do gym battles. She ended up using Kiel for the Cortondo Gym and earned her first badge. However, an Scorbunny stole the badge from her and attempts to runaway from her, thus she and her mons ended up chasing him up to the Poké center and lost him. Yukari, Joker, and Forte search for the Scorbunny while Kiel ended eavesdropping. Yukari and the rest of her mons found Kiel and Scorbunny, where she learned that not only Scorbunny was ordered to steal other gym badges, despite not wanting to, but also been abused by his trainer. This led to Yukari taking him and the rest of the mons to the Poké center and confronting his trainer in the library alone. There, she learns that the trainer is a bit power greedy and tells him that she despise trainers that abuse their Pokémon and is going to report him to the adults.
However, it turns out that the rumors about him owning an Garchomp are true and was gonna to hurt Yukari until Forte cast Confuse Ray on the Pokémon, giving Yukari a chance to run and escape. While Yukari is thankful that Forte save her, Yukari points out to Joker that she can handle things like this by herself and will be reporting to police, despite the fact she shouldn't be doing this all by herself. Scorbunny asks her if she wants to be his trainer, much to her shock. Despite the fact she has two fire pokémon on her team, she decided to let him join in as a part of her team. However, the moment was interrupted when his trainer and the garchomp are trying to open the door, causing the Yukari and co to flee to Cortondo where Kiel is located.
Yukari and co meet up with Kiel before Scorbunny's trainer caught up to them. Decided to battle him with Forte, she and Forte won the battle. However, the trainer attempt to held Kiel in hostage and will give him back if she gives Scorbunny back. At first, Yukari seem to give his Scorbunny back, but only for her to kick him and grab Kiel while attempting to run from him, only for her to trip and get step by the trainer. Suddenly, Tagg appear and commend the trainer to stop what he's doing, causing him to get scared and run for his life. Yukari thanks him as he introduce himself, which Yukari introduce herself back. Thinking that if she join the group he's in, she asks him to see if she can join his group and let's him know he can give her an answer later and leaves, oblivious to the fact that Tagg has his contact information out for her due to being busy.
Small Luck Camping
Yukari and her team are having a picnic to celebrate that Scorbunny have joined the team. While it's reveal that Yukari is well-known to having a hard time on naming Pokémon, she was planning on using Scorbunny for Artazon Gym, but remembers that he had some bad memories related to his old trainer, so she opt to using Kiel again, much to Forte's worry. She sets up the tent with her team for the night. Unknown to her, Scorbunny couldn't sleep and Kiel was going to tell him a story, but an titan Klawf appeared before them and decide to battle it so it doesn't wake her up. However, due to Klawf's roar, Yukari and the rest woke up and notice that Kiel and Scorbunny aren't with them, causing them to look for those two. When they found them, they were battling the titan Klawf. Joker ended up saving them by using Flower Trick on Klawf. There, it was reveal that Scorbunny and Kiel was battling Klawf because they don't want it to wake up Yukari, which she appreciates the thought. While Scorbunny went into the cave for the Herba Mystic, Yukari decided to name him Kokichi after the story she recalls from her childhood that her caretakers used to read to her.
Forte Those Open Skies
Yukari decided to bring Kokichi and Kiel to the next gym in Artzaton while Joker and Forte waits for Tagg. Yukari earned the badge and decided to celebrate by eating at one of the restaurants near by. As Yukari realize, not only Tagg didn't show up, but he was holding out his contact information while she was too busy in her farewells. Kokichi changes the topic to going to the next gym to battle, but Yukari points that none of them are ground type and they'll get paralyzed by Iono's Pokémon. Kiel suggests that they'll just have a picnic tomorrow, something they all being excited for while being oblivious to the fact that Forte reveals to Kokichi that she is insecure about how Ceruledges being seen as "evil".
The next day, after getting the things she needs, Yukari and the team heads out to meet Kiel at the secret picnic spot, but they encounter the issue where the rolling boulders hit Forte and the titan Bombirder is causing the issue. As they battle, Kiel stumbed on the scene and ask them what they're at the secret picnic spot, but got interupted when the titan tries to attack Kiel, only for Forte to come and save the day. After checking to see if he's alright and getting another herba mystica, they all have a picnic while Kiel reveals that Ceruledges aren't evil to Forte.
On the night before the battle, Joker talks to Yukari about how are they going to surpase Iono's battle with him pointing out that Yukari can't just use ground Pokèmon for that battle. Yukari states that she'll try to think of something with Joker stating that he knows that Yukari will somehow make things work, while remaining olibvious to the fact that Kokichi was eavesdropping.
Charged Right Into The Iono Zono
On the morning of the battle against Iono, Kokichi was acting off and Joker calls him out for it, though it resulted into having a tanturm, which cause Yukari some worry. Later on, while Yukari put Kiel in his seat, Kiel reveals to Yukari about what's going on with Kokichi as of late. Before she could do something, Kiel reminds her it's almost time to battle, so she hurries while Kiel ponder what to do.
Yukari and Iono battles with Yukari doing well until Joker does something that Iono ended up teralizing her Pokèmon and causing Joker to faint. Realizing she's in a bad situation, she summons Kokichi, but is still butthurt about Joker's call out. Yukari comforts him while Iono gives Yukari some time on reasuring the scorbunny. Afterwards, Kokichi decides to battle, but is unsure about the move until Kiel and the audiance cheer him on. This gives him the confidence to try out flame charged, leading Yukari to win.
While Iono is going to her rotom phone, Kokichi evolves into Raboot. Yukari was going to thank him, but he became aloof, much to Yukari's annoyance and Kiel's concern.
To Steal An Ice Cream
Yukari, Joker, and Forte talk about what to do with Kokichi's aloofness while Kokichi and Kiel head out. It is there they met Jazzy, who stole Kiel's Ice Cream, and she and Kiel proceed to battle, but they are intterupted by Icey, who scold the tinkatink duo for stealing Ice creams. Kokichi comes in Jazzy's defense and lies that she is Yukari's trainer. Icey, while knowing he lie, decided to give them completary ice creams. Yukari and the rest shows up and Icey told her what happened. Kokichi comes to Yukari and tells her that even if he is aloof, he actually does want to keep battling. Realizing this, she and her team heads out to their next desination, unknown about the fact that Jazzy follow them.
Hole In Trades
Yukari and the team talks about the next gym; Kofu's gym. There, they decided that since Joker will be the only one to be used there, they decided to find something for the rest of the team to do while waiting. There, they found a old woman who will give her tickets to a performance in Medali if they give her 10 sinsitea chips, which they obliged. Meanwhile, Jazzy was walking around and bump into an old man, who will give her something, if she gives him 10 Bronzor fragments, which she happily accepts. While Yukari and co got 10 sinistea chips, Jazzy managed to get 10 until she encounter the titan Orthworm, thus causing a battle between the two until Kiel ended up saving the day.
After they finish their trades with the old lady, Jazzy leads the old man to Yukari and gives her the Auscupious Armor, which Forte quickly shoves into Yukari's bag and heads off to Kofu's gym, which the old man remarks about what Forte went through.
The Past From The Blue Flames
Yukari and the team was heading to the gym, but Kofu was late, so they bring him his wallet. There, Kofu thank Yukari and gets her to bid for him, much to her chargin. Afterwards, she's able to battle him and won. While eating, Yukari discuss that the next gym is a normal type gym, which is hard unless they have a fighting move. While there, Joker tries to ask Forte what's wrong, only for her to avoid answering and claims she's fine.
The next day, it reveals that Yukari got the normal gym badge. While discussing the next gym and its double battle, Forte decides to drop the bomb shell about Ceruledges while revealing her and Kiel's past at different places she took them when it happened. While everyone felt bad for her and Kiel, Kokichi points out that just because Forte went something that tramuatizing, that doesn't mean she should prevent Kiel from evolving. This led to Yukari and Forte having a mini argument until Kiel reveals that he heard the promise that Forte made. Supsried by this, Forte stays quit while Kiel asks her for forgivness. She then attacks the titan iron treads, who heard Yukari and Forte yelling earlier.
Realizing that the titan's den is nearby, Kokichi leads everyone to the den to get another herba mystica. As Yukari about to grabs it, an titan Great Tusk appears and Forte attacks it. However, it proves to be difficult for her to defeat, so Kiel runs towards her and tries to convinced her to let him used the armor. As soon as the titan Great Tusk managed to faint Forte while she thrown Kiel up, he puts the armor on and evolves into Armarouge. This led to the Titan Great Tusk roar as the two ensures in battle, leading to Kiel winning the battle.
With Yukari congrating Kiel, they head off, but Kiel collapses due to the fact that Forte has been delaying his evolution for eighteen years.
To Conduct A Reason to Battle
Yukari is reading in the libary as she taken a break from doing gym battles for the time being until she meets a guy named Xaster, who was asking her if any of the books will lead to a shortcut to the headmaster's office, much to her bafflement and confusion. She points that there is no shortcut and ask him what he needs the headmaster for. He tells her that he was going to her headmasters about the pokèmon contest trials happening in Paldea, but he then reconize her from Iono's stream, where she and Yukari battle.
He then decided to ask her to battle him, which she accepted. During the one vs one battle, he remarks that Yukari got five gym badges rather quickly in a few days, which Yukari claims that any student at Naranja y Uva Academy will try and get the gym badges during their treasure hunt. He's displeased with Yukari's answer and begins telling her that he doesn't feel any passion from her during her battles and doesn't believe that's her reason to do them in the first place, which resulted her to tell him that she can feel and is passionate about battling while telling him it's none of his buisness that he should know her real reason.
Xaster tells her that he doesn't have any ill intent on her as he wants to get to know her better while telling her that her battling style is tecnically perfect, before he mega evloved his Luicario and reveals that he is the conducter and conquer of Sinnoh league while Yukari reveals her real reason why she's battles; She is trying to regain her memories.
Satisfied with her reason, Xaster proceed to win the battle against her and tells her about the Pokèmon contests as Yukari leads him to the headmaster's office. Before he enters the door, he tells her to get stronger and once she remembers who she was, she'll tell him all about that. The two went off their seprate ways.
The Calm Before The Waves
Yukari and the team are simply relaxing until Kiel encounters a Titan Tatsugiri, who proceeds to summom Dondozo. This leads to Dondozo getting Yukari and co to go to where Kiel is at. Revealing that Kiel was only looking for water pokèmom for Yukari, Yukari decided to battle Dondozo with Joker and won. As Yukari decided to capture an water pokèmon, the titan tatsugiri begins to battle them until Joker and Kiel manages to defeat them.
Yukari and the team succeeds in getting the last herba mystica with Kiel cooking the herbs mystica all together. Thanks to this, Yukari and co can continue the gym battles starting tomorrow with Yukari stating that she can capture Pokèmon as long as they want to stay with her while Joker notes that it may seem not much, but Yukari has improve her views on capturing pokèmons.
Ghostly Trials Of Mock Battles
While Yukari is battling Ryme, Kiel meets Yuna and does a mock battle with her. However, she sent put Kaito, her greninja, and would've faint Kiel have Yukari didn't show up asking her where Kiel went.
The two chatted while Yuna points out the fact the stream with her and Iono went wild was due to Yukari showing her emotions to Kokichi and Kiel and the audiance was cheering him and Yukari agrees with letting Yuna train Kiel.
Dress Up! Modeling in Battle!
After getting the pyschic badge from Tulip, Joker suggests having a dress up battle. While Yukari protest the idea of it, Kiel wants to do that. They were having fun, with Yukari senses that Kiel was asking a bit more about if he has improve in battles than usual, until Jazzy bits Kokichi in not a very pokèmon move way possible. Yukari attempts to stop Jazzy, only for her to get bitten instead, which leads to Jazzy running away. Yuna reveals to Yukari that Jazzy is close to her evloving, meaning that she can't use Jazzy nor Kokichi for the next gym battle like she thought she would.
The Icy Battle In The Hidden Slopes
Yukari is heading towards the gym, but stops as she decided to solve whatever issue Kiel has there. It's reveal that even if Kiel did evloved, he still have low self esteem about himself and believes he's not good enough. Yukari, in her own way, reasures Kiel that he is good enough as she doesn't give a damn about strength.
This gives her an risky idea; She decided to use Kiel at the battle against Grusha, which leads to Kiel using a new move. Yukari earn the ice badge thanks to Kiel. Later, at her dorm, Kiel thanks her for cheering him and tells her that he wanted to be a human, even if it's for a day. While she is understandably confused by this, she decided to grant his request one way or the other. After this, Yukari recalls that Xaster did mention about him on thr J-Team and wonders if it's the same group that she was asking Tagg about, but she shrugged it off, thinking that's too stupid of her.
The Elite Four Battle Part 1! An Unexpected Test?!
Yukari and co are simply walking when they see a ship, which is the stormchaser, but that's unknown to them. While Yukari and most of her mons are against the idea of going inside, Joker insits on going in with his reasons that none of them don't have ill intent. This leads to the gang searching for Joker until Yukari found him with a fainted shiny Petilil. Relazing that they may or may not cause some ruckus, they quickly left and healed up the mon. The Petilil, named Frey, is okay, but got memory loss thanks to Joker. They both decided to take her in, although Yukari could've sworn she heard of some trainer owning Frey.
While Yukari, Frey, and Joker are chatting, an trainer, revealed to be Arthur De Lawernce, asks them if they have seen his shiny petilil named Frey. Relizing that it's the same Frey they took in, Yukari, while hiding the fact they found her on a ship, reveals that Joker cause her to get memory loss and apolpgizes to Frey, which she accepts. Frey points out that even if she can't remember, that won't stop her from battling, which touches Yukari. Arthur decided to let Yukari keep Frey as he strives to become something else with his mons. Before he left, he has brought in Jazzy, already evloved as dusk-lyranoc. It reveals that she was looking everywhere for Yukari and only stumbled on Arthur during her search.
With that, Yukari went the the Pokèmon League of Paldea...only to be reminded that her bug badge got stolen and can't get in. Thankfully, Arthur saves Yukari's hide by giving her the bug badge that was stolen. It's revealed that it was retireved and the Director was trying to get Yukari's attention, but she keeps on leaving. With that, Arthut leaves while Yukari enters the room, only for Rika to reveal that the trial is an interview of all things, something Yukari wonders if every region does that (spoiler alert; only Paldea does that) and compares it to a job interview. After answering every question she was asked, she passed on her first try, with the cost of Joker getting offended being called as an Grass Cat Pokèmon. Despite this, the battle with Rika is about the begin!

Battle Strategy
Yukari remains calm in battle unless stated otherwise. She's well verse in a Pokémons' weaknesses and advantages, she uses them to her advantage. However, while she does use the advantages, she has a few tricks up to her sleeves, such as using a tm for a Pokémon that can use and items that will helped in battle. When not battling, she thinks carefully while making sure she takes the best option out there.
