Yu

Yu is Ky Kyselle's Medicham, and the first Pokemon he ever acquired.

Personality

Yu is a kind, wise Pokemon who at first seems very much like an old kung fu master, doing his best to guide his trainer and any other Pokemon he encounters down the right path. However, while he is definitely a bit sagely to be sure, he's also much more timid than he seems on the surface, being very nervous at the idea of fighting most wild Pokemon (though he doesn't mind the Pokemon of other trainers usually). His main strength comes from his intense loyalty to his trainer, being willing to do whatever's necessary to protect Ky and often overcoming his own fears in order to do so. He's also deeply apologetic whenever he does something that Ky would or might be ashamed of, willing to go into long periods of meditation to improve himself so that he doesn't make the same mistake twice. He's also happy to recommend techniques for self-improvement to other Pokemon if need be, such as the aforementioned meditation.
