Name Basis

Strahl's name means "ray" or "beam" in German, and it is also the name of Balthier's airship in Final Fantasy XII.

Personality

Strahl is the kind of mon that would rather just float around aimlessly than do anything that a Trainer would make him. However, he is surprisingly adept in Contests.

Despite his dislike of battles, Strahl is a fairly good battler. He is decent with both physical and special attacks, and is very fast, particularly once his Unburden ability is activated.

History

Strahl originally met Fortis by luring her into Amity Square to prey on her. However, Fortis decided that he would make a wonderful traveling companion and managed to catch him with Mezzo's help.
