Lila was born in Lavaridge town. When she was about five, she washed up on a beach in Alola following a boating accident while she and her family were on holiday.
She was taken in by the two Aether foundation employees who found her. She lived with her parents at Aether paradise until one of them got a promotion. Her parents resigned and they moved to Konikoni city when they learned of the foundations dark secrets. In 2016 Lila set off to travel the world.
