Phoenix(Real name, Caleb Snalitzo) is a trainer from Castelia City, Unova. He arrived in the story right before the Entralink Arc.

== Biography ==

Phoenix was a clerk at a Casteliacone stand before winning a competition for a trip to Alola. There he met and joined the J-Team.

When the sky lit up with rifts during the Entralink Arc, he had a short argument with Gabe before teleporting to go find a flying Pokémon.

== Personality ==

Phoenix is incredibly mischievous. He is not often serious; and when he is serious, not much can keep him from reaching whatever goal he may have.

Phoenix currently shares a begrudging partnership with Gabe.

Phoenix absolutely hates Des.

Ilya helped Phoenix escape from the Mobius Airship.
