A staunch opponent of corporate interference in government, he became the de facto leader of a faction of state senators who secretly moved to curtail the political influence of Pokefutures. The revelation of the appalling treatment of Pokemon by the Pokefutures company by a group of teenage scientists was the moment he and his subcommittee needed to take down the Mega-Corp.
He along with the Senate Subcommittee on Corporate Noninterference placed formal control of the former Pokefutures' assets to PEFE for a decade, a controversial decision they planned to renew.
