J-Team Legacy

J-Team Legacy is a fictional gacha game in We Are All Pokémon Trainers.

Premise

The Player is a new J-Team member. And they join the J-Team just in time for the newest adventure. This time, the J-Team has to save the multiverse! Galvani creates a new device for inter-universal communication. However, the temporal anomalies create a side effect: the player can register the various alternate versions of J-Team members from various universes and teleport them to their side to combat the forces that threaten the Multiverse.

The Gacha and Currencies

Using Shards and NanoShards to power the communication device, the player can attempt to try to contact new alternate versions of the J-Team. Unfortunately, thanks to the temporal distortions, who they connect to is random - and a shard's energy is spent once contact is established. NanoShards are common and are used in the free gacha. Shards are used for the paid gacha and can be obtained for free through gameplay and through daily login bonuses, or bought with real money.

Daily Login Bonuses are delivered by the Celebi, the Temporal Trio, and the Tao Trio over the course of a seven day cycle. On the first day Celebi provides a bunch of NanoShards. The rest of the seven day has members of the Temporal Trio and the Tao Trio bringing various items to the player. The Temporal Trio deliver free shards. And the Temporal Trio delivers items to level and strengthen the various J-Team Members the player has registered.

Gacha Characters

Gacha characters are divided into five levels of rarity: Common (C), Uncommon (UC), Rare (R), Super Rare (SR), and Secret Super Rare (SSR). Each J-Team member has a partner pokemon, passive abilities, and up to three skills they can use to affect battle. Each character has three stat ratings Health (HP), Attack (ATK), and Trainer Affinity (AFT). HP and ATK dictate the Partner Pokemon's performance in battle. AFT affects how well the Trainer's skill work.

Further, all versions of J-Team members have a unique combo move with their partner pokemon called "Unison Raves". Each Unison Rave has different effects and are unique to a given character. A character's Unison Rave can be strengthened by using extra copies of the same character.

The player is randomly registered one SR Member from a limited pool of SR rank J-Team Members. This pool originally consisted of OU!Tagg, OU!Pentigan, OU!Silent, OU!Tracer, and OU!Jane at release, but was expanded to a pool of about 20 different OU!J-Team Members from across the groups history Including DS, Kai, Dune, Jacob, and Scheherazade.
