Jane Stacy
Jeanette Harvey, known more popularly by her stage name Jane Stacy or just Jane, is an Off-[Broadway] thespian and Geographic Society correspondent. She is [Hank Harvey]'s younger daughter and [Tommy Petersen]'s main on-again, off-again love interest.
Appearance
Jane is a tall, beautiful young woman in her late 20s. She is of mixed Black, White, and East Asian ancestry, having tan skin, dirty-blond afro-textured hair, and blue eyes. She has a curvy yet somewhat athletic build. An avid lover of cosplay, she often wears clothing that flatters this figure, albeit without being in bad taste.
Biography
Jane was the younger daughter of the Harveys. She was shy and had self-confidence issues growing up, and she had a difficult time making friends as a child. Her parents gave her a starter pokémon, a ralts, to keep her company. At first, her new friend, Fred, kept her protected. They did hit a rough patch when his protectiveness became a mild possessive streak. Fortunately, they were able to sort it out and Fred became quite accepting of many of her newer friends. She eventually acquired more psychic pokémon. For a time, they helped her navigate the complexities of social interaction, helping her detect "friendly," "disinterested," or "hostile" figures. They eventually became her partners in other endeavors.
Although she works as an actress for [Off-Broadway] productions, she intended to follow her parents' footsteps and become a full-time journalist.
She and Tommy Petersen used to date. They met when he first started, uh... documenting the arrival of a self-styled superhero messing with smugglers the authorities have had trouble putting down. Ever since then, she has grown rather fond of the new vigilante and has had an off-again, on-again sort of thing going on with her nominal ex-boyfriend.
Personality
Hank's daughter Jane is at once the opposite of her father and also very clearly her father's daughter. A Her writing style was described as hard-hitting, take-no-prisoners, and scathing but very often fair.
The frequent targets of her ire are authority figures, which often has daddy dearest worried. The few times she gushes toward things include reports on social programs and citizen activism. She had written many flowery reports in favor of the J-Team's activities and seems to have a soft-spot for superheroes like Arachna-Guy, more so since he got that upgrade.
