Personality
Blitz is generally a laid-back and cheerful guy who's mostly content with his station in life and believes a good attitude and a bit of humor will get you through any situation. He has a sense of justice and can be protective of others, especially when his big brother instinct kicks in, however there is some self doubt lingering that prevents him from believing he's destined for anything more than being an average breeder and nice guy.
History
The Thorne family has been running the Daycare on Route 117 since Grandpa Thorne's days, so Blitz has spent most of his days helping out in some form or another, and life had been pretty quiet overall. When Blitz was 10 he received his first pokemon egg, with an explanation that a person's most valuable possession was their bond with their pokemon, especially their starter. Eventually the egg hatched into a Growlithe that was named Ammon, but it would be some time before the pair were ready to go anywhere. Unfortunately during that time one of Blitz's cousins disappeared/passed. The family greived for some time, but business still had to be done, and Blitz found himself torn between getting ready to set out on his own journey and staying to help the family through their crisis, family ties won, and Blitz threw himself into the work and never went on his journey. At least until a fateful vacation to Kalos...

Blitz doesn't know what to think about Pi.
Blitz has met Lanie, and apparently has been nicknamed "Mel".
Blitz doesn't know Ren very well, but would likely ask him questions about the more unusual side of J-team life if given the opportunity.
Blitz could be friends with Jason, though after keeping him from beating Simon up Blitz isn't sure.
Aline reminds Blitz of when his sister was little, and is somewhat fond of her for that.
Haruka is travelling with Blitz, sorta, maybe.
