History

Thames was once an upstanding member of the Orre Police under Sherles. He was intelligent and and his dreams and hopes of making Orre a peaceful place to live were motivated by his strong sense of justice. However, in a region under the thumb of Cipher, such ideals and motives are crushed in brutal fashion. In order to leave a message, Cipher caused an explosion at Thames' home while he was at work only for him to return to find his partner pokemon, wife, and child had died in the blaze. With the incident quickly being deemed an accident and none of the top brass wanting to investigate further, Thames fell into depression and vowed vengeance against Cipher. Quitting his job at the Orre Police, Thames began trying to find ways of bringing Cipher to justice by his hands. However, even this dream was denied.

After several years of working to find dirt on Cipher, Thames' dreams of bringing Cipher down were uprooted wen the J-Team successfully drove Cipher out Orre. Rather than rejoicing with all of Orre, Thames despaired at failing to avenge his loved ones and cursing the J-Team for robbing him of everything that had given his life meaning. Thames secluded himself in a small, run-dowm apartment in Gateon were much of his time and thoughts went to cursing the J-Team and wishing that society would just delude itself so dreams couldn't be broken and everyone could just delude themselves into happiness.

It was in this state that Ameno-Sagiri found Thames. Hearing the wishes of Thames's broken spirit, Ameno-Sagiri approached Thames and promised him the power that would grant his wishes. With Ameno-sagiri's influence, Thames was able to enter the Collective Unconsciousness and gained the ability to manipulate the landscape there and thhe power to command Reapers. Upon hearing that some J-Team members were gaining power that could stop him, Thames become enraged. Ameno-Sagiri then granted Thames the power of Persona and awakening Thames's Persona, Magetsu Izanagi. It was at this time Ameno-sagiri subtly possessed Thames and began to further manipulate the man.

With the new power, Thames stormed the Orre Police Station injuring Sherles and easily defeating Lilith and her team before stealing copies of the data on the Contractors. And with this information and with Ameno-Sagiri's influence, Thames had the other Guardians of Izami's powers face off against the Contractors.

After all the other Guardians were defeated, Thames decided that he would face the contractors personally within the area of the Collective Unconsciousness he had corrupted, Magetsu Phenac. Here Thames and Magetsu Izanagi faced off against Dune and Verax allong with their Ultimate Personas. After a fierce battle of strength and wills, Thames admitted his defeat, but Ameno-Sagiri, unwilling to let Thames's change of heart stop Izami's plan abandoned Thames, released Thames from his posession and removing Thames' power over the Collective Unconsciousness, leaving the man severely weakened.

After the defeat of Ameno-Sagiri Thames turned himself into Interpol, admitting to being the one responsible for many major incidents. Thames is now serving time and assisting the PEFE in furthering their understanding of the Collective Unconsciousness.
