This is an overview of my headcanon and/or suggestion for Orre IRP, maybe in an alternate world. It has not yet complete.

ORRE: THE LAND

The People

Long before any other humans arrived in Orre, the People of the Land were there. There are, in modern times, very few of the People left alive. The few that do are either heavily discriminated against, or do not publicly recognize their heritage. This state of being was predicted long ago.

The Clans:

  • Clan of Sand:
    • The largest of the Clans, the Sand claim the desert of Orre as their territory.
  • Clan of Tree:
    • The second biggest Clan, the Tree's territory is the jungle-esque area around Agate Village.
  • Clan of Cave:
    • The Cave are the least often seen. They inhabit the cave systems under Orre, the most densely clustered of which are in and around Mt. Battle.
  • Clan of Storm:
    • Little is known now of the Storm. They were the most war-like of the Clans, and fought so desperately to remain free that the first wave of foreign settlers had to wipe them out entirely just to survive.

Culture:

The People all shared a common culture, of spirit worship, and identity. They had two deities.

  • The Mind:
    • The Mind's domains are those of human matters:
      • War
      • Knowledge
      • Art
      • The Home
      • The Past and History
    • It's symbols are a flame and a scroll.
  • The Heart:
    • The Heart's domains are those of nature:
      • Death
      • The World
      • Spirit
      • Health
      • Nature
      • The Future and Prophecy
    • It's symbols are a dune, a storm cloud, a tree, and a crevice.

They had only one holiday, the Meet, which was a seven day festival that started on their New Year.
