U-Um... Hi... I'm Raru... I don't think we've met... Eep! *I hide behind Ian's leg*

Ian: It'll be okay, Raru... They won't hurt you...

Me: R-Really?

Ian: Of course. I won't let them. Now, go out there and introduce yourself.

Me: O-Okay... *I come out from behind Ian's leg*

M-My name is Raru, and I am Ian's Ralts. I'm also the fourth Pokémon he caught on his journey, long before he debuted in We Are All Pokémon Trainers... It's nice to meet you...

Personality

If you probably couldn't tell, I'm a little shy around people and Pokémon I haven't met. Whenever I meet someone I don't know, I tend to hide behind my trainer's leg, though it wasn't always like that, because when I met Ian and Piku-chan, I had the tall grass of Route 9 in Unova as my cover. When it comes to new friendships, I often take my time easing into them. I hope we can be friends...

As for Piku-chan and Oshawittle, I'm not as confident as they are, but I try as hard as they do and I pull my weight. I also help them out whenever they need it and they care for me as my trainer does.

Details

Met: Ian and I met on Route 9, near Opelucid City.

Ability: My ability is Synchronize. If someone tries to hurt me by poisoning me, paralyzing me or setting me on fire, then they feel the same pain that I do.

Favorite Move: My favorite move is Hypnosis. There are times where I don't want to fight and wish I could just end the fight quickly. I most frequently use this move through eye contact, sometimes making little gestures or pretending to swing a pendulum back and forth. Ammy helped me develop my abilities with this move one year on the day after Halloween, teaching me how to match the pace of my targets and communicating the sleep suggestion to them through telepathy. Heck, she even helped me learn Confuse Ray, though Arceus only knows what would happen if I combined those two moves...

Nature: Timid. Well, it fits my personality best and I can take solace in knowing I'm quick on the draw...

Ball: I reside in a Poké Ball, simple as can be...

If there's anything you didn't know about me, here's where you'll learn it...

• My name comes from the first two syllables of Ralts' Japanese name (ラルトス:Rarutosu), which can be used as a Japanese pronunciation of "rare", which Raltses are in Ian's home region of Unova (at least, Raltses on Route 9 are), and is also similar to "malu", the Indonesian word for "shy", which best suits my personality.

• I learned how to speak Japanese by listening to my trainer speak it.

• When my trainer, Ian, first discovered his Pokémon Form, I remarked that he looked like he could be my twin brother. It is currently unknown to whether I would look like Ian's twin brother if I assumed a human form.

• When I first learned Confusion, I kinda forgot to let Ian go and accidentally threw him at a Blastoise...
