Empire of the Ancients

The Empire of the Ancients is a major regional power in the Johto of PMD-B, controlling Cianwood's island as well as a portion of Johto west of the former Olivine City. In fact, it can be very much considered the dominant power of the region, its primary rival being the Miltank Legion centered in western mainland Johto, while also being closely allied with the Empire of Hoenn enough to send peacekeepers to assist local forces during times of instability.

Origins

The Empire was actually originally formed by fossil Pokémon hailing from PMD-A, who ended up carving out territory out of their new home. This information is unknown to the vast majority of its inhabitants.

Organization

The Empire of the Ancients, prior to Csiki's reforms, was an absolute monarchy with fossilmon noble houses, as well as Pokémon perceived to also be existent in their current form for millions of years. Said nobles are propped up through a serfdom mostly comprised of mons that don't fall under that category.
