Stylish Hex Maniac Dardanette Korie is the third player character of Chaotic Marin.

Biography

Dardanette's was a somewhat privileged and sheltered girl belonging to a wealthy family in Hoenn. She wasn't very social and took up hobbies in various artistic avenues such as drawing, dancing, and playing musical instruments to have 'fun'. Something went horribly wrong however; at some point around age 13 she became a felon after an investigation spurred by an eyewitness into the disappearance of Dardanette's brother and one of his friends brought uncomfortable amounts of attention to a sudden onset of the crazies. When asked where her brother was Dardanette merely giggled, replying that they were close. She seemed to have become detached from reality, having no sense of danger or better yet remorse; an eerily omnipresent smile refused to leave her face even as she was inevitably hauled off to jail by local law enforcement. They did however make the mistake of underestimating the young girl's strength and she lashed out, attacking the officers and fleeing with the help of her pokemon. Dardanette's brother and friend were never found despite her claim, and due to the inability to reclaim her no one ever quite found out why Dardanette had so suddenly descended into a psychopath; chances are however that it has something to do with one or more of the ghost pokemon she has been hanging around ever since, though. She now preys on others from her place in the shadows, usually avoiding crowded places.

Dardanette would seem to be in an almost constant state of mild bliss and generally speaks in a relaxed manner, sometimes even outwardly demonstrating a gentle and affectionate nature. This often doesn't last long however as she is prone to suddenly becoming violent without provocation or seemingly any pattern for that matter. Dardanette has a strong ghostly aura to her, detectable by psychics and aura sensitives within a quarter of a mile. This is a self-control issue brought on by Dardanette being an obscura witch and has a habit of attracting wild ghost pokemon that find the energy pleasant to be around. Dardanette is capable of basic illusions, basic barriers and causing non-damaging nightmares in sleeping people; She is also capable of using watered down versions of the moves shadow punch, ominous wind and lick in the form of a kiss that drains souls/life force. She uses this to sustain herself for the most part instead of actual food which... is probably not healthy, but she does it! While she is not all that strong of an obscura witch she is capable of performing more complicated and advanced obscura magic when one of her ghost pokemon dedicates itself to helping her. (See: Emphasis on dedicate) Noteworthily she does not sleep and therefore has never demonstrated the ability to do astral travel; She also has never demonstrated the ability to create Twilight.
