Van Kleiss was a massive Carnivine and leader of The Pack, a group of Pokémon who sought the power of the Space-Time Orb. He was ultimately defeated by Team Dreamcast and Team Taxonomy when they inadvertently ended up in his lair following their escape from Almer.

- Van Kleiss is based on the villain of the same name from Generator Rex.
