Relationships

Leon: Having bonded with Leo over the course of two years, they know each other well, though he's annoyed because while he wants to battle a lot, Leo and the rest of his team are on the mellow side.

Cerbeau: They like to take jabs at each other. While Cerbeau mentally facepalms at his impulsiveness and calls him "Air Conditioner", AC keeps making jabs at him and how he's the one with the type advantage despite his size.

Automa: He tries to stay on Automa's good side, mostly because he's worried about getting squashed by him, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Though he does get annoyed when Automa wanders off.

How They Met

When Leo was ten, he and his father moved to Mistralton City, with Chargestone Cave nearby. Of course, this led to the house suffering short-but-frequent-and-annoying power outages.

After some looking around, the two found that there was a Joltik infestation in their house. Mainly using the family's Stoutland, they ran most of the Joltik out of the house.

A couple of days later, Leo saw a Joltik that was leeching electricity from his air conditioner. His dad wasn't home, and he was sure that he had a Great Ball from back when he was a Trainer. So he took one and used it on the Joltik. The guilt set in a few minutes after he realized he essentially stole from his father. As soon as he came home, Leo ended up telling his father what he did, apologizing profusely and prepared to have to release the Pokemon he just caught.

Maybe it's because he was honest or maybe he was at the age when a Trainer should get their first Pokemon, but his father let him keep it.

When he ran up to his bedroom, he ended up naming the Joltik "AC".

Trivia

  • He says "AC" is short for "Awesome Cool"
