Matthew is a Rock type trainer and Fortis' rival.
Appearance
Matthew has short, spiky red hair. He usually wears standard boyish T-shirts and shorts.
Personality
Matthew is a novice trainer, much like Fortis. He is easily excitable, but tends to turn hostile quickly. He also has an interest in digging up things, particularly fossils.
Relationships
Matthew and Fortis were shipped with each other from the moment they first met, and not just by Sunny.
