Joey was basically the same as in the games, being an annoyance to Tagg, Luke, and Slouch in particular, until he ended up dying. After death, he ascended to become the deity of all Com Mons and OLD MAN's apprentice. Which he isn't moonlighting on the mortal plane, he spends his time on the Elemental Plane of Mundanity.

Joey briefly appeared in post-Distortion Sinnoh, where he ended up getting headshotted by a Vorcha sniper.
