Fort Beast is the name of a bubble fort by Oblivia's Raikou, Entei and Suicune during the Ranger Regions Arc. It was first seen on page 1402, after Suicune came up with the idea a page earlier.

While the three Pokémon had their own homes at the Wireless Tower, Daybreak Ruins and Canal Ruins respectively, the Oblivia Beasts agreed that they needed a shared base of operations to assist the J-Team from while they outed the remnants of the Pokémon Pinchers from the Oblivia Region. Using her skill with her self-developed technique, Bubble Shield, Suicune was quickly able to construct a sizeable fort like structure from a large amount of bubbles stuck together.

The fort is sizeable enough to house the three beasts, their master, Ho-Oh, and several Pokémon and trainers with room to spare.

Although initially a temporary arrangement, after the destruction of the Sky Fortress, the beasts collectively agreed that living together in once place was more convenient and moved into Fort Beast permanently. The three can be found there when not out preforming legendary duties, or assisting the Frontier Brains at Hoenn's Battle Frontier.

Rules

A rather crude wooden sign outside the front of the fort states the rules:

  • No.1: No Sharp Objects
  • No.2: No Pineapples.
  • No.3: Salesmen will be roasted.

The initial Rule No.2 was "Only People and Pokémon with a Heart of Gold may enter the fort." It was shortly revoked by Suicune, after the trio ended up arguing over whether any visitor could enter or not. Jane suggested to keep it a "Rule of Three" that a ban on Pineapples be instated. The rule was passed on an unanimous vote by Luke, Lake, and the beast trio.

Trivia

  • A more accurately name for the fort would be "Fort Beast II", as the original was a cardboard box fort that the Oblivia Beasts built when they were younger. Raikou explained that Entei burned it down, who insisted that it was an accident.
  • A second, unnamed bubble fort was built by the beasts with help with some others in one of Jubilife City's parks. It served as a temporary home while the trio spectated the Gold Tournament. It was taken down before the beasts returned to Oblivia.
