• Tekkan's name is derived from a shortening of "Tekkanin", which is Ninjask's Japanese name.
• According to Goldenheart388, Tekkan's Hasslemon handle is apaceCourier (AC). "Apace" is a synonym for fast, referencing Tekkan's blistering speed, as well as having the word "pace" in it. "Courier", meanwhile, references Tekkan's past as an intern Ninjask, as well as his ability to send messages to people in mere seconds. Additionally, both words relate back to Tekkan's corresponding Greek god of Hermes-- AKA the so-called "messenger of the gods" and the god associated with speed, able to travel anywhere thanks to his winged sandals.
• According to Goldenheart388, Tekkan's regular character theme is "Walking on the Sun" by Smash Mouth, his Broadway character theme is "Ya Got Trouble" from The Music Man, and his headcanon voice is that of John Moschitta Jr. as himself, particularly in regards to his adverts for both FedEx and Micro Machines. Incidentally, Moschitta did a fast-talking cover of "Ya Got Trouble" on the show That's Incredible! back in the 1970's.
• Tekkan's corresponding Greek god is Hermes, the messenger of the gods and the fastest of the twelve Greek Olympians, being the god associated with speed. Hermes is also the god associated with merchandise-- his Roman counterpart, Mercury, gave us the word merchandise-- which ties back in to Tekkan's love of advertising and his slight "snake oil salesman" persona. By proxy, his corresponding sign is Gemini, his corresponding Homestuck troll in terms of sign is Sollux Captor, and his corresponding Homestuck troll in terms of personality is Kankri Vantas, though only tangentially.
