His ability is Super Luck.
History
Chase was the first Pokémon DS caught when the trainers went to Unova. DS found Chase as a Pidove, who had gotten accidentally left behind by his flock, because he had suffered a wing injury because of a Purrloin. After she healed his wing, Chase decided to go with DS.
In the AU
In the AU, Chase ended up joining the Resistance after Goggles had saved his life, and became Goggles' assistant and second-in-command.
