Kako

Kako is Evelyn's male Kirlia and is tied with his sister Mirai for being the second Pokémon Evelyn has befriended.

Personality

Kako always tries to act as the voice of reason among Evelyn's Pokémon. However, most of the time it ends up blowing up in his face. When push comes to shove, Kako is very protective of his sister.

Battle Strategy

Of the Kirlia Twins, Kako is more inclined towards the offense, dishing out attacks like Psychic, Shadow Ball and Disarming Voice, with the occasional Hypnosis for the sake of disorientation. When teamed up with his sister, the two of them form a powerful fighting force, combining their psychic might and unleashing a brother-sister team attack of their favorite move, Magical Leaf.

History

Kako and his sister, Mirai, hatched from their eggs on the exact same day at the exact same time, and were raised by Evelyn as though she were their mother. Kako and Mirai, despite their differences, worked together incredibly, and it showed in their battle performances. Kako trying and failing to be the voice of reason would always make Mirai laugh, and eventually, it became Kako's mission to protect Mirai and her smile. They trained alongside Evelyn, Hatty and Axon when their trainer started studying under Sabrina.

Achievements

• Fought alongside his trainer in the battle against the Mobius Society (controlled by Izaya) at the Ultra Badlands.
• Fought alongside his trainer in the battle against The Fanatic.
• Helped his trainer in the battle to save Santa Claus (whom Evelyn referred to as Father Christmas) from the IDPD by distracting some of the officers.

• Evelyn is Kako's trainer, and he also sees her as a motherly figure.

• Mirai is Kako's twin sister as well as his preferred partner in battle. Mirai's smile is something Kako considers precious and he desires to protect her for as long as he can.

• Kako's name comes from the Japanese word for "past" (過去).
