The Faetouched are primarily humans that have gained some sort of quality akin to the fae after making contact with some sort of fairy-based being, whether a Fairy-type Pokémon or something else. They can be considered the Fairy-type's answer to Aura Sensitive humans and Pokémon, though they're by no means mutually exclusive, as being Faetouched is normally an induced state rather than an inherent one as is the case with most Aurics.
Weaknesses
Like many Fairy-types, the Faetouched often have a weakness to metal in general and iron in particular, the material causing welts akin to a violent allergic reaction upon touching bare skin. Poisons also ravage their bodies much more quickly than non-faetouched beings. They often cannot directly lie, and instead have to rely on exact wording when trying to trick someone.
