Biography
A 16-year-old dark-specializing trainer from Castelia, Unova. His only non-Dark type is his Shedinja, Husk, although it is implied that he felt obligated to 'adopt' Husk, for reasons currently unknown.
Onion's best friend from childhood was Every Memito, whom he met during a run-in with Krokorok. Many of them. They became friends after somehow escaping. They continued together for several years afterward, but then separated before meeting up once again.
In childhood he was given the nickname "Onion." This wasn't based on a mannerism or aspect of his appearance, it was simply to annoy him. However, he came to like the nickname and still uses it. He also tends to insist that people use "Onion" rather than "Malgent", expressing some dislike for his given name.
