Biography
A 17-year-old dark-specializing trainer from Castelia, Unova.
Onion's best friend from childhood was Every Memito, whom he met during a run-in with Krokorok. They continued together for several years afterward, but then separated before meeting up once again.
In childhood he was given the nickname "Onion." This wasn't based on a mannerism or aspect of his appearance, it was simply to annoy him. However, he came to like the nickname and still uses it. He also tends to insist that people use "Onion" rather than "Malgent".
Personality
Onion is usually phlegmatic, although when comfortable reveals himself to be more outgoing and friendly. He sometimes acts and speaks harshly.
Appearance
Onion wears a black suit for all occasions, regardless of what it may be. He has brown eyes and blue hair. The reason for his hair being blue is unknown, although it is probably not naturally blue.
Relationships
Onion has been friends with Every since childhood. They had not met for several years before reuniting in Hoenn.
Onion has some familiarization with several members of the main group, as well as a friendship with Amanita.
