Psyche
Psyche is the Primary PC of conflictedpsyches.
Psyche (AKA: Caroline Davis) was a normal Nimbasa City girl, playful, curious, and adventurous, until she decided to take a trip with her brothers Rick and Nick to the Desert Resort. A sandstorm kicked up and she quickly lost them. She panicked and started screaming, hoping someone would find her. The sound led a gang of Scrafty over to her, and thinking she was invading their turf, they proceeded to beat her savagely. A doctor quickly found her and took her to the nearest hospital, but she had severe damage in her leg, a busted eardrum and torn vocal cords. She requires a leg brace and hearing aid to this day. To add insult to injury, her father disowned her because she was in "no shape for athletics", the only acceptable career path in his eyes. After she was released, she ran away from the city and went to Lostlorn forest where she was accepted into the Gothitelle tribe. Several years later, she was found again by the state, and she is now officially a ward of the state. She goes once a year for a physical and other necessities, but otherwise she stays away from the city. She created a form of sign language to communicate with her Pokemon at first, but after she caught several Psychic types, she abandoned that in lieu of pure telepathy, which she uses to communicate not only with her Pokemon, but also with other people. She still resorts to sign language with Hood, though.

Appearance
Psyche is always dressed in the Gothic Lolita style in honor of her Gothorita "sisters". She refuses to wear shoes, as they get in the way of climbing trees, she claims. She has a leg brace, which she only uses on the ground, and glasses, which she doesn't wear much.
Personality
Before her accident, she was energetic, idealistic, and curious. After her accident however, she rapidly began to lose her faith in humanity, especially adults. She became incredibly spiteful and venomous at times, but as she's met more people, she's begun to show her old idealism. Since her accident, she has been terrified to the point of paralysis of Scrafty, but after she caught Hood in the Desert Resort, she's begun to adjust slowly.
Relationships
She is friends with Straw.
She has, after a night in Ilex forest together, begun dating Eskay.
She is first cousins with Herbert due to both being descendants of Lucanus and Aiura, and is the niece of Titan due to her mother being Titan's sister.

In the AU
In the Alternate Universe, instead of being beaten up by the Scrafty, she was lead by the Scrafty to the Relic Castle. She trained with the Scrafty, and eventually became to general of an Army of Scrafty, lead by a mysterious benefactor... She is training them to protect the Relic Castle at all costs.
