Gummi

The Gummi is a food item resembling large jellybeans in PMD-A and PMD-B primarily eaten by obligatorily carnivorous "civilized" Pokémon, as well as omnivorous mons. They contain all the essential nutrients necessary for survival without the drawbacks of vitamin and mineral supplements.

Origins

While it is unknown how the PMD-A variant came into being, in PMD-B they were an invention of the PEFE nutritionist Prof. Banana that became ubiquitous over the 600 years following the Dragon War. It can be said that Gummies are what make large scale mon civilization without predation possible in lieu of other technologies such as meat cloning.

Trivia

• While their exact taste is unknown, they do not taste exactly like meat as Tagg and his Pokémon have noted the difference over the course of PMD-R, comparing it to candy.
