Battle Strategy

Raru tries his best to fight from a distance with moves like Confusion and Shadow Sneak. His favorite move, Hypnosis, is very useful and hits its target most of the time. Sometimes he combines his efforts with those of friends like Piku-chan, Oshawittle and Mothra.

History

Ian first met Raru when he was on his way to Opelucid City. Raru was shy and usually tried to hide from Ian, but Ian showed Raru kindness and he warmed up to Ian and started following him.

Achievements

• Assisted his trainer and the J-Team in the defeat of Necrozma.

Relationships

• Ian is Raru's trainer, as well as his most common hiding place.

• Piku-chan and Oshawittle are two of Raru's first friends. The three combine their efforts during many battles.

• When Raru first learned Confusion, he forgot to put Ian down and proceeded to psychokinetically throw him at Misty's Blastoise.
• When Raru first learned Lucky Chant, the song he sang was Kamui Gakupo's Lyrical Cover of "The Sun Rises"from Ōkami.
• Raru's name comes from the first two syllables of Ralts' Japanese name (ラルトス:Rarutosu), which can be used as a Japanese pronunciation of "rare", which Raltses are in Ian's home region of Unova, and is also similar to "malu", the Indonesian word for "shy", which best suits Raru's personality.
