Name Basis
Boreas is named after the Greek god of the north wind.
Personality
Boreas is an adventurous mon who is fairly excitable. He enjoys swimming around and visiting new places.
Abilities in Battle
Boreas' Water typing offers him resistance to Fire and Steel attacks, which are a problem for the rest of Pianis' team. In addition, he can use Water moves along with his Ice ones to take out Fire types.

History
Pianis caught Boreas on Route 230 while swimming. At the time he was searching for a mon he could use to cross water easily, and one that could do something about his team's weakness to Fire. He found both in the Seel he caught.

Boreas gets along well with the rest of Pianis' team, but doesn't have any distinct relationships.

Boreas died in the Distortion along with his trainer.
