Donut

Donut is Poppy's Cyclizar, and the first she acquired during the Neo-Sinnoh Arc.

Personality

Relaxed and cautious, Donut prefers things to go the way he plans, and gets flustered when they don't. Though he is Poppy's form of transportation, he is capable in battle. He is jealous of when he sees other Dragon-types like Salamence represented on billboards and such, feeling that less vicious-looking Dragon-types like him are never appreciated. He is also wary of what he considers 'outsiders' such as wild Pokemon, and especially doesn't like whenever someone who isn't Poppy tries to get on his back.

Backstory

Yet to be revealed, but perhaps it has something to do with why he's so distrustful of his team members...

Battle Strategy

Donut tends to use his speed to his advantage, dishing out Dragon-type moves the best he can. He listens to whatever Poppy has planned for the battle, but when those plans, well, don't go to plan, he gets flustered and doesn't know what to do. He hits opponents with whatever he can, for instance, if somehow he's facing a Fairy-type, he'll use whatever type of moves that aren't Dragon-type and hope something works out eventually.

Relationships

• Poppy: Due to being her starter, he and Poppy are practically inseparable. So far, she's the only person he knows he can always be sure to trust on the journey.
• Shroomy: The two do not get along due to Donut's unwillingness to trust anyone besides himself, Poppy, and her family or otherwise associates. Only time will tell if Donut will improve.
• Sunrise: Same goes for Sunrise, and the way things look now, every teammate in the future.
• Crusher: Not outright hateful, but still distrustful of him.
• Nessa: Donut seems to have an almost fatherly relationship with Nessa, due to protecting her as an Egg and being the first thing she saw when she hatched. Although distrustful of everyone else, he seems to treat Nessa fairly.
• Stormwind: Roughly the same as how he treats Shroomy.
• Lila: Doesn't trust her all that much - especially due to her affinity for theft.

• He is the first Pokemon character who is a Cyclizar.
• His character theme, as jointly decided on by ThunderKitty and Goldenheart388, is "Creep" by Radiohead.
